Christmas Market

The market has started in Brussels and I'm pleased to see that the hot rum stall from Guadaloupe is back. Everyone else is selling identical mulled wine, which is nice enough, but hot rum punch is glorious.

There's loads of stuff for sale, but nothing too exciting.

One thing is that St Catherine hosts a nation each Xmas, in the past we've had Finland and, more bizarrely a Carribean island. This year, it's Wallonia.

Yes. The host nation is part of Belgium.
