The Sociology of Dog Poo

I was wandering around one of the posh parts of Brussels and saw a new variation of the 'clean up after your dog' sings that grace the capital.

I've seen plenty like this one in other parts that show the poo and can be quite evocative, but in the posh parts there is no poo, indeed only the gentlest of hints.

It also makes reference to 'master', making sure that the social pecking order is enforced.

But the striking thing about this sign is the outline of the dog. Presumably dogs that foul the pavement are hideously mutilated and forced to pose for warning signs.
