old house with flags
As National Day is coming up, I thought I'd show something patriotic. Or a flag.
I found this house by Maalbeek Metro when I was photographing some grafitti and wondered what the story is behind it. It's broken down and been empty for a long time, but the last occupants left the German, EU and Belgian flags on the balcony. Who were they? The German/Belgian Friendship Society? At least I could see why they'd only need small premises.
I tried to get inside, but couldn't find a way in.
